Whither Islam and Democracy?
In recent years the study of political Islam has received much attention, especially when considering some of the major events in international relations and the development of Muslim societies through the process globalization. One of the key themes in this study is the question of governance and Islam. In this analysis, Dr. Fares Al Braizat provides us with a critical study of Islam and Democracy and asks the fundamental question of whether Islam is resistant to democratic principles.
