Liberal Forum Malaysia visits Malaysian Parliament
In October 2003, the FNF worked with the Liberal Forum Malaysia to organise a tour of the Malaysian Parliament. The visit focused on looking at paliamentary procedures as well as the roles of MP's. Many key figures attended and talk also touched on the lack of interest in politics of Malaysians
Training for Media Appearances and Liberalism Workshop by Liberal Forum Malaysia
In July and August of 2003, the FNF Malaysia team organized two key events in Malaysia: a training course for TV and madia appearance for politicians entitled 'Fit for Appearnaces in the Electronic Media'; and a workshop on 'Understanding Liberalism'. Both events received good participation and included such interesting activities such as how to take part in studio discussions on freedom of the individual and the rule of law
Marimuthu Nadasan Awarded
Mr. Marimutu Nadason has participated twice in IAF programmes in Germany. He is the President of ERA Consumer, which was awarded Consumers Association of the year during the Malaysian Consumers Day on the 26th August 2003.
