Your chance to visit Germany in 2006
An online course on New Public Management is offered in February, with a further chance to visit the International Academy for Leadership (IAF) in Germany.
The Friedrich Naumann Foundation together with IAF offers four online courses to interested public in the year 2006. The first seminar is on New Public Management: Lean State, Lean Government.
The online training is organised such that participants can refer to resources at the e-library and have interaction with other participants either via e-mail or forum. All participants will be asked to provide their bio-data and a general statement on the seminar topic, which is accessible by all other participants. This allows participants to get to know each other and their respective views on the issue.
The online seminar is free of charge and those interested may apply with FNF’s Programme Manager Dr. Busarin (busarin@thailand.fnst.org) by 13th January. The online participation will be from 1st to 24th February 2006, and will be conducted in English. The technical aspect is kept simple – only requiring normal internet connection.
Upon active participation and assessment test by the IAF, selected participants will be invited by the academy to attend a seminar in Gummersbach, Germany from 23rd April to 1st May.
Other online courses to be offered in 2006 include Human and Civil Rights in June, No Education: No Freedom, No Opportunity in October and New Public Management: Lean State, Lean Government again in late October. Please check this site for further updates on these courses.
